ABOUT CARBON THERMO ASH
Thermo ash is a sustainable alternative for tropical wood species. Natural ash wood is thermally treated without the addition of chemical substances. Through thermal treatment, ash wood gains characteristics commonly associated with tropical wood, such as high durability, resistance to moisture and temperature changes and dimensional stability. Thermo ash wood is solid and dense wood that is more durable compared to unmodified wood species like larch, yet it comes at a more budget-friendly price point than numerous modified wood species (e.g. Accoya). Thermo ash treated with the CARBON method has an expressive surface pattern which creates unique and exclusive facades and interiors.
